Terms of Use
Effective October 17, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Levra ("we", "us") for using levra.news and the Levra apps (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
2. Who can use Levra
You must be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how you sign in.
3. What Levra is, and what it isn't
- Levra's stories are written by artificial intelligence from articles published by other news outlets, then checked automatically against those articles before publication. They aim to be accurate and neutral, but they can contain errors or omissions. Each story links to its source articles.
- "How each side covered it" and our left/center/right labels describe news coverage based on media-bias ratings. They are our good-faith summaries, not statements of fact about any outlet.
- Levra is for general information. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Don't rely on it alone for important decisions.
- If you find a mistake, use "Report an error" on the story. We correct confirmed errors.
4. Reading limits and plans
- Browsing headlines is always free. Opening a full story uses one of your reads: 1 a day as a guest and 3 a day with a free account. Paid plans, when available, include more. Reopening a story you already opened in the same period is free.
- Please don't try to get around the limits (for example with automated tools or many accounts).
- We may change what each plan includes. If we reduce a paid plan you're on, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel.
5. Paid plans (when available)
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. The price, renewal date and any free-trial end date are shown before you pay.
- You can cancel anytime in Settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free. A free trial cancelled before it ends is never charged.
- Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout, as seller of record, which also handles receipts, taxes and payment questions. Refunds follow the law where you live; in the EU and UK you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription, as explained at checkout.
- Extra reads never expire and are used only after your plan's allowance.
6. Fair use
Don't copy, scrape, resell or republish Levra's stories in bulk, use automated tools to access the Service, interfere with its security, or use it to break the law. You may share links to stories and quote short passages with credit to Levra.
7. Content and ownership
Levra's stories, design and software belong to Levra. The articles we link to belong to their publishers; when you follow a link, that site's own terms apply. Reports and messages you send us may be used to improve the Service.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. If we ever shut down a paid service, we'll refund the unused part of your subscription.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on Levra's stories. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be waived.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes, we'll tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Levra after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
